Calling all BPRD Agents,

There's just one week left to complete your pledge manager (it closes August 13th)! Please remember that you must complete the pledge manager to provide your shipping details, otherwise we may not be able to ship your pledge and that would make us sad T_T

Phew, now that's out the way. We've got some exciting images to share! Just in time for the pledge manager we've received the final renders of the Darkness Calls expansion miniatures. These have now been approved by Dark Horse/Mike Mignola so we're able to share!

 We may be back this week with a few reminders about completing the pledge manager. Once again, please don't worry if you've already completed it.

Rulebook progress and pledge manager update

Calling all BPRD Agents,

Firstly, thank you to everyone that has completed their pledge manager so far. 8,675 backers have filled in their pledge manager but we're still waiting on a further 3,918 to finish theirs.

Remember, YOU MUST COMPLETE THE PLEDGE MANAGER to ensure we have your correct shipping address - otherwise we won't be able to fulfil your pledge. So please, please, PLEEEEEEEEEEEEASE fill in the pledge manager because we would hate for you not to get your Hellboy goodies.

Oh, and with regards to elements like the $10 Dark Horse Digital voucher and free copy of Seed of Destruction, these will be distributed AFTER the pledge managers are all complete.

RULEBOOK UPDATE

COME AND PLAY HELLBOY!

Finally, there are a couple of upcoming opportunities to play Hellboy: The Board Game before it ships next year. 

If you come to the Mantic Night at GenCon, we'll be hosting demos of the game so you can try a quick mission featuring Abe and Hellboy. You can buy a ticket for Mantic Night here.

Also, on August 25th, we'll be hosting another Hellboy Playtest Session at Mantic HQ in Nottingham, UK. To get involved, send an email to [email protected] with the Subject: "I <3 Big Red" and include details about your gaming experience.

Pledge manager available now!

Calling all BPRD Agents,

The pledge manager is now on its way. Following a successful smoke test over the weekend, we've now sent out the remaining pledge managers to all backers. Please check your email (including spam) for an email from Backerkit asking you to complete your pledge manager.

Just in case you can't find the pledge manager in your inbox, you can also find a link here. Please note that Retailers do not have to complete the pledge manager, as they will be handled by our trade team.

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE PLEDGE MANAGER IN ORDER TO RECEIVE YOUR PLEDGE!

Sorry for the all-caps but if you don't complete the pledge manager we won't have the correct shipping address on our records and you need to pay for shipping in the pledge manager too.

The closing date for completed pledge managers is August 16th and cards will be charged once the pledge manager is closed. There's also the option to pay via Paypal, should you prefer.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

You'll also be able to add any Optional Extras during the pledge manager phase too. When you log in, you'll see the option to add extras (such as the Box Full of Evil) to your pledge. It's a little like a shopping cart where you can select items.

Please note that adding optional extras to your pledge will incur an additional charge for shipping. The optional extra shipping is based on weight (rather than amount), so you'll see that you can add lots of light items (like the extra dice or dice tray) before the amount increases.

However, if you add something more substantial (like the Box Full of Evil) then it's likely to increase the overall shipping cost by more. Extra copies of the Agent Pledge are charged at the standard shipping rate.

Pledge manager incoming on Monday!

Calling all BPRD Agents,

Good news! The pledge manager is almost ready to send out to all backers. Once again we're working with Backerkit to deliver the pledge manager, and we've been putting the finishing touches to it this week.

The pledge manager is incredibly important because you'll need to complete it to make sure we've got the correct shipping address, you will need to pay for your shipping and you can select any optional extras you want to add to your pledge.

We've just sent the 'smoke test' to 5% of backers, which means some backers will receive their pledge manager via email over the weekend. Do not worry if you haven't received your pledge manager yet! If everything goes smoothly over the next few days, we'll email out the pledge manager to all the other backers on Monday (July 16th).

SHIPPING COSTS

During the campaign we estimated the shipping costs based on our predicted weight. However, with all the upgrades (particularly the card components) it means the weight of the Agent Pledge has increased quite a lot.

With that in mind some of the shipping costs have increased slightly. The confirmed shipping costs for the Agent Pledge are now:

• UK - £10
• Europe - £13
• USA - £15
• Australia/New Zealand - £15
• Canada - £16.50
• Rest of World - £25

Iron Shoes render + pledge manager incoming

Calling all BPRD Agents,

Just a quick update today. Firstly, the finishing touches are being put on to the pledge manager and we will be sending it out next week. We'll be using BackerKit to provide the pledge manager and we've had a lot of good feedback about BackerKit from our previous Kickstarters.

Do you have to complete the pledge manager? Yes! You must complete the pledge manager in order to provide your shipping address and pay for shipping. You'll receive an email from BackerKit once the pledge manager is available and we'll post an update too. 

Anyway, enough with the paperwork, let's take a quick look at one of the final miniatures funded during the last few hours of the campaign: Iron Shoes. This was a tricky one to sculpt as there aren't that many clear images of the cheeky goblin. However, we're delighted with the finished result and the pose is particularly evocative of the moment Iron Shoes leaps from the bell tower.
